Admission regulation in stationary trade through digital systems from COCUS AG and Apostore GmbH

In the course of digitalisation and to support compliance with state regulations on hygiene and infection standards, COCUS AG and Apostore GmbH have entered into a partnership. The Inscribe customer acquisition solution developed by COCUS now supports the digital butler of Apostore.

Düsseldorf/Gelsenkirchen, 20. June 2020 – Inscribe is a new digital service of a medium-sized IT company from Düsseldorf, which enables the contactless registration of customers and participants via smartphone with simple handling. Inscribe thus offers a hygienic and data protection-compliant way of implementing the Corona protection regulation guidelines of the federal states for the service industry. In view of the current distance rules that accompany public life, Apostore developed the digital stele for contactless entry controls and waiting communication for pharmacies. With this digital entrance control, customers can be informed contactlessly whether they can enter premises or whether the entrance capacities are already exhausted.

Digital data acquisition saves time and effort for customers and operators

In order to make further relaxation of the Covid-19 measures secure and to be able to detect infection chains as completely as possible, service providers* have been obliged since 11 May 2020 to record their customers’ data in encrypted form and to store it for four weeks. In the event of an infection, possible contact persons can thus be identified and informed. 

“With Inscribe, this can be implemented simply and securely: by posting an individual QR Code, which customers can scan contactlessly with their smartphone and enter their data in just one step. In this way, additional work and costs on the part of the company can be kept to a minimum. Pen, publicly available lists, disinfection, manual sorting according to date and time as well as storage of documents are no longer necessary”, 

explains Sascha Hellermann. In addition, in the case of contact tracking, with just one click and secure verification of the service provider, a complete list of potential contact persons can be made available to the public health department in compliance with the DSGVO. This also eliminates the time-consuming search for the right documents.

Digital Butler as contactless entry system for customer access control

While service providers are obliged to keep contact details, the stationary retail trade has to enforce the official requirements regarding the minimum distance. Depending on the area of the shopping facility, only a certain number of people are allowed to enter the shop area. This admission control means additional effort for the employees* or the employment of a security service. The digital butler from Apostore can help here.
